Autobot Hound

My intention was always to give Hound a friendly, trustworthy face. I tried to make him look vaguely animalistic and at the same time reliable and approachable like a dog or cat.
That, along with his keen tracking skills and dog tags are all contribute to him earning the name Hound.

The thing I wanted to convey the most about this design is how old school Hound is. He's really old, like Kup old. And his robot mode is supposed to reflect the Jeep aesthetic: stripped down and mechanical. I wanted to keep his moving parts (leg suspension etc.) visible, while at the same time retaining the classic G1 look.
Also, my version of Hound is a reluctant soldier. He keeps his weapons hidden, and only draws them if absolutely necessary. I love the inherent contradiction of a robotic soldier with a military alt mode...who is actually a peacekeeper who loves Earth.
